Earthquake jolts Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

WEB DESK: An earthquake jolted parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday morning. Tremors were also felt in Islamabad.

Severe earthquake shocks were reported from Peshawar and its surrounding areas, along with Bajaur, Mohmand district, Malakand, Upper Dir, and Nowshera.

The magnitude of the quake was recorded at 4.7 on the Richter scale, and the epicenter was on the Southeast Afghanistan border. The depth of the earthquake was 98 km.

The tremors were felt at 9:18 AM.

So far no casualties have been reported.
