Eight benches of the Supreme Court to hear cases this week

ISLAMABAD: Eight benches of the Supreme Court will hear cases in the week starting tomorrow, as revealed by the apex court’s rostrum for the upcoming week.
After the swearing in of the new Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, the Supreme Court has released the first judges roster for October 28 through to November 1.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Shahid Bilal Hasan will be part of bench number one. Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Athar Minallah are included in bench number two. Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Irfan Saadat are included in bench number three.

Bench number four will consist of Justice Jamal Mandokhail, Justice Musrat Hilali, and Justice Malik Shahzad, while bench number five will consist of Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi.
Justice Ayesha A Malik and Justice Aqeel Abbasi are made part of bench number six, and Justice Shahid Waheed and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan will sit at bench number seven.
The final bench, number eight, will consist of ad hoc judges Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel.
