Both Starlink, a SpaceX subsidiary focused on satellite internet services, and Shanghai Spacecom, a Chinese satellite communication firm, are looking to grow their presence in Pakistan within this framework, she wrote.
The minister emphasized that the licensing process is straightforward and generally free from complications after an application is filed.
Applications are processed by the PTA following the completion of necessary formalities and, if needed, a security clearance from the Ministry of Interior.
