Evening thundershowers after daytime heat predicted for Tuesday

WEB DESK: On Tuesday, the weather in most parts of the country is expected to be hot and humid, says Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). However, as evening and night approach, certain regions, including North-East and South Balochistan, Lower Sindh, South and North-East Punjab, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the Potohar region, may experience strong winds and thundershowers.

In Islamabad and the surrounding areas, the day will likely be partly cloudy and humid. Nonetheless, the night hours may bring strong winds and thundershowers to these areas.

The weather across Punjab is anticipated to be hot and humid for the majority of the day. However, during the evening and night, areas such as Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan might experience a brisk change with potential for wind and thundershowers.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hot and humid conditions will prevail in most districts throughout the day. However, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Balakot, Buner, Mardan, Malakand, Mohmand, Kurram, Khyber, and Bajaur are likely to see heavy winds and thundershowers.

The forecast for Sindh indicates partly cloudy and hazy weather across most districts. The coastal areas will remain cloudy, with a possibility of light rain.

Balochistan will also experience hot and humid weather in most districts. Yet, regions like Zhob, Musakhail, Barkhan, Khuzdar, and the surrounding districts may witness strong winds and thundershowers.

Kashmir is expected to see gusty winds and thundershowers, with a chance of rain in the region. Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan will remain partly cloudy throughout the day.
