Executive washrooms introduced at Lahore Railway Station

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways taking a step towards modernization has launched the convenience of executive washrooms for the public at Lahore Railway Station.

According to railway officials, air-conditioned washrooms have been opened for the public at Lahore Railway Station, with a usage fee of Rs. 50 per person. These executive washrooms are clean and equipped with modern facilities, including sanitizers and hand dryers.

Separate washrooms for male and females have been constructed on both sides of the station.

As per the plan by Pakistan Railways, besides Lahore Railway Station executive washrooms will be introduced at 13 more stations across the country within the next three months.

These washrooms will be equipped with facility of hot and cold water, shampoo and clean towels allowing tired and weary travelers to freshen up.

Female washrooms will also be specially equipped with diaper changing stands for the facilitation of the mothers.

Cleaning staff will be present at all times to maintain hygiene.
