ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the world has never witnessed the level of cruelty and brutality Israel is inflicting on Palestine.
“Innocent citizens are being killed while global powers remain silent. The government will send a group of experts to key global capitals to raise international awareness about Palestine,” he said.
In his address at the all-parties conference (APC), the prime minister thanked the president for organizing the event and expressed his gratitude to the leaders of all political and religious parties for their participation.
He said that a group of experts would be formed to raise the issue of Palestine in important global forums. The group will convey Pakistan’s message, as well as the collective voice of the Islamic world, to the international community.
Sharif further noted that this group of experts will inform the world that these wounds inflicted on Palestine will not heal and will expose the ongoing atrocities.
He noted that, in the face of internal or external challenges, Pakistan’s political and religious leadership has always come together to propose and implement concrete solutions. Today is a shining example of that unity.
The prime minister said the speeches at the APC reflected both wisdom and emotion, adding that the collective concern shown was highly encouraging for him and the nation.

He highlighted that several critical points were raised, particularly regarding the role of the international community in relation to Palestine, as well as the support from the Islamic world.
He also referred to the Quaid-e-Azam’s stance on the matter, pointing out that the resolution from today’s conference should unequivocally support the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
He said the current bloodshed in Palestine is unprecedented, with mothers and children being martyred and entire cities destroyed.
He likened the situation in Palestine to that in Kashmir, questioning whether Muslim blood is considered cheap in the eyes of the world. He urged the global conscience to awaken, noting that after the martyrdom of 42,000 Kashmiris, it is time for all forces to unite and put an end to this violence.
The prime minister underscored that stopping the bloodshed in Palestine is Pakistan’s first priority. He said the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is the platform for this.
He shared that during his participation in a United Nations session, he represented Palestine’s cause, and when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu entered, Pakistan’s entire delegation walked out in protest.
The prime minister emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine and said Pakistan will work with other Islamic nations to achieve this. He concluded by saying that Pakistan must not be deterred by any potential economic repercussions, even if they stem from the IMF agreement, affirming that Pakistan will stand firm in raising its voice for Palestine regardless of the consequences.
