Explosion heard in Malir, Karachi

KARACHI: An explosion was heard near Sharafi Goth in Malir area of Karachi on Thursday, spreading panic in the area, according to Karachi police.

Rescue and police teams quickly reached the scene.

Lahore on high alert following explosion on Walton Road

SSP Malir said that metal fragments were recovered from the site. The nature and cause of the explosion are being investigated.

Police have cordoned off the area and launched a probe. No casualties or property damage have been reported so far.
