Falsification of Karachi board inter exam results proven

KARACHI: In a shocking development, allegations of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) exam result tamepring have been confirmed, leading to swift action from authorities.
It has been reported that the results of the 2021 and 2022 examinations were manipulated, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the assessment process.
The scandal implicates eight officials, including two former chairmen of the Inter Boards and controllers of examinations.
Among those named are Dr. Saeeduddin and Naseem Ahmed Memon, former chairmen of the Karachi Inter Board, as well as Anwar Aleem and Zaheer Bhutto, former controllers of examinations.
Furthermore, action is being pursued against a deputy controller and three assistant controllers allegedly involved in the falsification scheme.

The gravity of the situation prompted the caretaker chief minister of Sindh to order an immediate investigation into the matter.
Authorities have called upon the Anti-Corruption Department to launch a comprehensive inquiry and register a case against the implicated individuals.
Many students had failed in the intermediate examinations and they were submitting scrutiny forms in large numbers at Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK).
The failed students were dissatisfied with the results and took to the streets.
The parents were also disgruntled over the results and maintained that they were spending their savings on education of the children. “The BIEK is charging Rs 400 for scrutiny of each subject,” they added.
