Family feud claims six lives in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Six people, including women, were shot dead near Khatko Bridge in the jurisdiction of Urmar police station in Peshawar on Monday morning.

Police say the attack stemmed from a long‑running family dispute.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital in Peshawar, while investigators have sealed the scene and begun collecting evidence.

THREE SIBLINGS DIE IN NOWSHERA

Three young siblings died after reportedly consuming contaminated sweets in Izakhel Bala area of Nowshera.

Their mother fell critically ill and was shifted to the hospital. Police have opened an inquiry and sent samples of the sweets to a laboratory to determine the exact cause.
