Fatima murder case: body buried again after autopsy

KARACHI: The autopsy of 10-year-old Fatima, who was brutally murdered, has been completed on Saturday. Her body, which was exhumed from the graveyard for the post-mortem, has been reburied.

According to the details the samples obtained from her body will be sent to the laboratory.

The medical team formed for the purpose of Fatima’s autopsy included Dr Aqeel Qureshi, Dr Amanullah Bhanguar, and Dr Samia.

Additionally, Dr Zakiya-ud-Din, Dr Gulzar Ali, Dr Waqar, Dr Javed Memon, Dr Sultan Ahmed, and Dr Yasmin Jokhio are also part of the medical team.

Fatima murder case: Twitter demands Justice

Earlier today, in response to the directives of the caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar, a specialized medical board has been established to conduct an inquiry into the Fatima murder case.

The issue came to public attention when distressing video clips showing severe torture marks on Fatima’s body surfaced on social media. The heartbreaking footage depicts the grievously injured girl attempting to sit up on her bed but collapsing soon after.
