FBISE announces Intermediate results; girls outshine boys

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Tuesday has announced the results of Intermediate Part I and II annual examinations 2025.
In the Pre-Medical group, Aliha Tariq from APS Rawalpindi secured the first position with 1,071 marks. The second position went to Wardah Sarfaraz from The Scholar Science College with 1,070 marks. The third position was jointly shared by Urooj Malik from APS Gujranwala and Manahil Murtaza from Rasul Degree College.
In the Pre-Engineering group, Muzzammil Sajid from The Scholar Science College clinched the first position with 1,063 marks. Muhammad Sami from KIPS College stood second with 1,059 marks, while Ayesha Naeem secured the third position with 1,054 marks.

According to the FBISE announced results, a total of 97,928 students appeared in the Class XI exams, out of which 60,794 passed. In the Class XII exams, 96,521 students appeared, and 79,881 were declared successful.
The overall pass percentage for boys was recorded at 75.85, while girls achieved a success rate of 88.91 per cent. The Pre-Medical group registered a pass percentage of 94.04, while Pre-Engineering recorded 88.89 per cent.
Hyderabad girls clinch top three positions in Intermediate Pre-Medical exams
Hyderabad education board has also announced the results of the annual Intermediate Pre-Medical examinations, with students from Hyderabad securing the top three positions.
According to the gazette notification, Aqsa Muhammad Rashid of Hayat Girls College, Saddar, topped the exams with 977 marks. Zuneira Rehmatullah of County Girls College obtained the second position with 973 marks, while Pre Khim Chand of Government Girls College, Qasimabad, secured the third position with 972 marks.
The board stated that a total of 45,413 students from 10 districts appeared in the Hyderabad board exams. Among them, 2,048 students secured an A-1 grade, while 15,397 obtained an A grade.
