FIA arrests 2 on allegations of child pornography

ABBOTTABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two suspects in Abbottabad, alleging them of distributing indecent images and videos of children via social media.

The action followed a tip-off from an international law enforcement agency working in tandem with the FIA against child pornography.

Incriminating material related to children was found on the suspects’ mobile phones, the agency says.

The accused have been formally charged under the PECA Act.
