FIA arrests six for illegally attempting to travel to Europe

ISLAMABAD: The immigration staff of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested six people attempting to travel to Europe through Saudi Arabia.

According to details, during a search of six passengers leaving for Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas at Islamabad International Airport, fake European visas were discovered in the luggage and mobile phones of the accused.

The FIA immigration staff offloaded and arrested the individuals hailing from Gujranwala, Gujarat and Kotli, Azad Kashmir.

The detainees were to travel to Europe from Saudi Arabia for which they have acquired fake visas by paying a handsome amount to travel agents.

The nabbed culprits were shifted to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad for further investigation.
