Interior Minister Naqvi presents FIA report on electricity overbilling to PM Shehbaz

WEB DESK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi to discuss critical issues affecting the nation.

During the meeting, the Interior Minister presented a joint investigative report by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Intelligence Bureau regarding overbilling practices by electricity distribution companies.

The meeting also included a briefing on the measures taken to maintain law and order during Muharram.

The Prime Minister emphasised the need for improved coordination and communication among provincial governments, as well as those in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, particularly regarding security matters during Muharram, especially on Ashura.
