FIA requests Interpol to issue red warrant for Moonis Elahi

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Money Laundering Circle in Lahore has made crucial strides in the ongoing money laundering and corruption case against Moonis Elahi. The investigative body has formally requested the Interpol to issue a red warrant for the accused.

This move follows the issuance of a permanent arrest warrant against Moonis Elahi by the Special Judge Central Court in Lahore, proclaiming him as an absconder.

Moonis Elahi has been evading legal proceedings, and consistently defying notices issued by both the court and the FIA. Despite repeated calls to participate in the investigation, Moonis Elahi has steadfastly refused to cooperate.
