Fire breaks out in a factory in Karachi


Fire breaks out in a building in Dhaka that left 43 dead

KARACHI: A fire broke out on Monday in a factory located in Bhangoria Goth, a neighbourhood in Karachi, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Fire Department informed.

According to fire department officials present on the scene, the fire department immediately reached the site to extinguish the flames. One of the fire brigade vehicles was dispatched to put out the fire.

The matter is currently under investigation to ascertain the cause of fire. No casualties have been reported so far.

On Saturday, a cardboard factory caught fire in Shujabad, located in Punjab. The fire started in the factory before spreading to nearby warehouses. The cause of the fire in not yet determined.

Similarly, a fire blew up on the third floor of a building near Shah Faisal Colony Bridge in Karachi on Saturday. While the fire was brought under control, the exact cause of the fire is still not known.
