Korangi factory fire extinguished

KARACHI: A fire that broke out in a solar manufacturing factory near Murtaza Chowrangi in Korangi on Tuesday morning has been extinguished. Three people suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to control it.

According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, a firefighting team has reached the spot, and efforts are underway to control the fire.

Fire brigade officials said that the fire broke out on the roof of a three-storey building, which soon reached the lower floor.

According to officials, solar panels are manufactured in the affected factory.

Officials say that according to initial information, three people suffered minor injuries in the fire incident and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

The process of cooling is now under way.
