Five killed in ambulance, oil tanker collision

ATTOCK:  Five people, including three women, were killed in a collision between an ambulance and an oil tanker on Saturday.

According to rescue sources, the ambulance was en route from Jind to Benazir Hospital, Rawalpindi to transfer a patient when it collided with an oil tanker near the Hakla interchange on the D.I Khan Motorway.

Resultantly, five people, including three women, tragically lost their lives on the spot.

Rescue personnel said three persons, including a Rescue 1122 employee, were critically injured in the incident.

The martyred Rescue 1122 personnel was a medical technician.
