Five passengers killed in Nowshera road accident

PESHAWAR: Five passengers died and 13 were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Rashkai Interchange on the highway in Nowshera.

According to the Motorway Police, the bus was en route from Rawalpindi to Peshawar when the accident occurred due to the driver falling asleep.

Six killed in Manshera motorway accident

Among the injured four are reported to be in serious condition including two women .

Rescue teams promptly transported the deceased and injured to Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex in Nowshera and MMC Mardan.

The bus driver involved in the incident has been apprehended.

The damaged bus has been successfully removed from the ditch, and the motorway has been reopened for traffic.
