ISLAMABAD: Flight operations from Islamabad to Dubai are likely to resume today, aviation officials said earlier on Tuesday.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has restored its airspace. The airspace above the Middle East was closed after yesterday’s missile attacks carried out by Iran in retaliation to US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.
The aviation officials said that two flights from Islamabad to Qatar were canceled last night, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights – Islamabad-Doha (flight QR 633) and Islamabad-Doha (flight QR 615).
These two flights will also depart today in addition to the regularly scheduled flights, PIA spokesperson said on Tuesday.
