LAHORE: In the plains of Punjab, a blanket of heavy fog descended tonight, leading to significantly reduced visibility.
In response to the challenging weather conditions, authorities have taken precautionary measures by closing highways at various locations to ensure the safety of travellers.
The Motorway Police spokesperson reported that due to the dense fog in the plains of Punjab, Motorway M4 has been temporarily shut down from Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakeem Interchange.

Fog-induced closures continue, with Motorway M4 affecting the route from Faisalabad to Multan and Motorway M3 from Faizpur to Darkhana.
