Food Poisoning:  70 factory workers in critical condition in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: A tragic incident of food poisoning in Gujranwala has affected 70 factory workers, leaving their health in a critical state.

According to reports, the employees of a chipboard manufacturing factory located in the Alipur Chatta area consumed food from the factory’s mess, which resulted in their health deteriorating.

Hospital authorities have reported that seven of the affected individuals are in critical condition and receiving urgent medical attention.

Assistant Commissioner Wazirabad taking swift action has detained the cook responsible for preparing the food.

An investigation into the incident has been launched, and food samples have been collected for further examination.
