Bushra Bibi had led the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest rally towards D-Chowk in the federal capital demanding release of the former PTI chairman Imran Khan. The federal government had barred protests in the capital, and as a result of the skirmishes at the protest a case was registered against Bushra Bibi in Ramna police station.

The court extended the interim bail of Bushri Bibi till February 25.
