Four driving training centers established for women in Lahore

LAHORE: Lahore Traffic Police has established four driving schools specifically to teach motorcycle and car driving to women in Punjab.

The newly opened schools are Aabshar Driving School on Jail Road, Women on Wheels School LOS on Ferozepur Road, Liberty Khidmat Center, and Manawan Traffic Lines.

Classes are conducted from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a women-to-women service for added convenience. In addition to driving, the course includes training in electrical and mechanical work.

As part of the ‘Ride for Change’ initiative, Lahore Traffic Police is also offering scooter training for women at various universities and colleges. – INP
