The chief minister pledges support for overseas Pakistani students
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that the government cannot move forward without the support of the private sector. He also highlighted the importance of education for the economic progress of a country but insisted that “degrees do not make a person, hard work does”.
Speaking on the eroding situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the chief minister said that the steps that should have been taken on the Afghan border were not taken. “The situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is bad due to wrong policies,” Ali Amin Gandapur said.

He praised the sacrifices made by the armed forces for the country, adding that the civilians have also made sacrifices in the war against terrorism. “We salute the role of security forces in establishing peace, Gandapur said, adding, “We will not give up, we have to learn to compete”.

The CM said that getting disappointed in the face of failures shows a weakness of faith. He said that the provincial government will provide support to overseas Pakistani youth in education and other fields.
