PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Tuesday said he did inform the incarcerated PTI founder — Imran Khan — that his sister Aleema Khan was responsible for divisions in the party, a statement that can cause further frictions while again proving all is not well in the house of PTI.
The embattled chief minister, however, said he is a faithful loyalist of Imran who is his leader.
Gandapur opted for releasing a video message after Aleema accused him for levelling baseless accusations before the jailed PTI founder and two of the provincial ministers tendered their resignations.

However, the chief minister described the resignations as a routine matter, but didn’t hesitate speaking against Aleema Khan.
Gandapur said he expressed his opinion without any fear of the possible consequences. “Anything can happen to me after speaking like that to Imran Khan,” he said, describing it as his duty.
According to Gandapur, the current situation is causing factions in the party and everyone is now associated with any of these to his or her personal advantage.
He said some vloggers as a special target were fuelling the party divisions and Aleema had been provoking them to do so.
But how did all this started?
Gandapur said the practice started over the issue of passing the provincial budget despite the fact that inability to do so would resulted in the fall of PTI’s provincial government.
He also said Aleema also raised the issue of minus-Imran — a reference to the statement in which she had admitted that “Imran has been minus-ed”.
