MARDAAN: At least six people were killed and two others injured when a gas cylinder explosion caused the roof of a two-story house to collapse in Mardan’s Aaram Colony on Saturday, officials confirmed.

Rescue 1122, firefighters, and medical teams rushed to the site immediately after the blast, which completely destroyed the residential building. Among the deceased was former senator Abbas Afridi, who succumbed to his injuries.
