General election will be held on February 8: Gen Asim Munir

WEB DESK: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has said that the upcoming general election will be held on February 8, 2024.

He said this during a meeting with the Pakistani-American business community in the United States.

The matter was discussed during General Asim Munir’s exchange with overseas Pakistanis at a dinner reception hosted by the Pakistan embassy in Washington.

Answering a question from a Texas-based Pakistani businessman, the army chief said, “As far as I know, general election will be held on the 8th of February,” according to Geo News.
