Girl injured in Karachi grenade attack succumbs to injuries

KARACHI: The young girl wounded in a grenade attack in Karachi last night has passed away in the hospital today. The attack, which took place in the Bihar Colony area of Malir on Monday, resulted in the loss of a woman’s life and left eight people, including children, injured.

Initial reports revealed that two unidentified individuals, riding a motorcycle, hurled a grenade in Bihar Colony, causing chaos and devastation. A woman lost her life in the explosion, while several others sustained injuries. The attackers swiftly fled the scene, evading capture by law enforcement agencies.

In response to the incident, the bomb disposal squad swiftly launched an investigation into the nature of the grenade used in the attack. The initial findings indicate that an RGD1 grenade was deployed in the attack, shedding light on the severity of the explosive device.
