Gohar Ijaz given additional charge of interior minister

ISLAMABAD: The caretaker prime minister has given Caretaker Federal Minister for Commerce and Industries Gohar Ijaz additional charge of the Caretaker Interior Minister, according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday.

Ejaz will oversee the internal security and law and order situation of the country until the next general election.

Ejaz, who is also a prominent businessman and economist, has served as the chairman of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association.
