Gold prices in Pakistan experience a sharp decline

KARACHI: The price of gold per tola in Pakistan plummets by Rs200 on Thursday.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), the price of one tola of gold in the country now stands at Rs218,500.

Post significant decline, the cost of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs172, now priced at Rs187,328.

Meanwhile, APGJA reported that the price of gold in international market has also fallen by $5 per ounce, settling at $1,929 per ounce.
