Govt formulates Ziarat policy to promote religious tourism

ISLAMABAD: The Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs, Aneeq Ahmed, announced the government’s commitment to boost religious tourism and enhance the convenience for Zaireen by formulating a Ziarat policy.
He made this announcement during a meeting with the Iraqi Ambassador, Hamid Abbas Lafta, in Islamabad on Thursday. The discussion primarily focused on the development of a Pakistan House for Pakistani Zaireen in Baghdad and Karbala.
Aneeq Ahmed emphasized the enduring fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iraq, highlighting the deep-rooted relationship of love and affection between the two nations.
