Gujranwala Expressway inaugurated by Caretaker CM

GUJRANWALA: Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi on Monday officially inaugurated the Gujranwala Expressway.

The expressway will link the city with the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway. Naqvi highlighted the reduced travel time between Gujranwala and Lahore by 45 minutes.

The caretaker CM cited the dedicated efforts of the project team for timely completion of the project. He said that when he made a surprise night visit, he witnessed the team consistently working to finish the project well ahead of schedule.

Completion of Gujranwala Safe City Project

According to reports, the caretaker CM marked the completion of the Gujranwala Safe City Project during the inauguration ceremony.

Naqvi congratulated the citizens of Gujranwala on the project’s completion, revealing its completion in just 45 days.

He highlighted the instalment of 109 surveillance cameras strategically placed across the city to curb crime rate within the city.

The caretaker CM expressed hope regarding early completion of other pending projects under the government.
