Hajj 2026 registration date extended

Hajj 2026

ISLAMABAD: The last date for Hajj 2026 registration has been extended for Pakistanis wishing to perform the pilgrimage next year.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the registration deadline has been extended by two days. Hajj registration will now continue till July 11 on the online portal of nominated banks and the ministry.

It has been decided to continue the process of registration for Haj pilgrims until Friday. More than 300,000 people have registered so far.

This year, nearly 67,000 Pakistanis who had registered and paid the initial expenses through private tour operators were not able to perform Hajj. The Saudi Arabian cancelled registrations of these pilgrims due to some contractual violations of these private companies. The Religious Affairs ministry managed to extend the government quota for Pakistani pilgrims by 10,000 but the remaining registered individuals could not perform Hajj.

Hajj 2025 was held on June 5. The Arafat sermon of Hajj 2025 was delivered by Khateeb-e-Hajj Imam-e-Haram Sheikh Saleh al Humaid from Masjid Namirah. The sermon was available in 34 languages for people across the world, with real time translation.
