ISLAMABAD: Haval Pakistan has announced a 40 per cent discount on repair costs for its vehicles that were damaged in the recent hailstorm in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Several vehicles were damaged in the severe hailstorm which struck Islamabad on Wednesday evening.
Videos of golf-ball-sized hailstones hitting houses and cars were posted on social media by several locals.

According to a message shared through their social media account, Haval Pakistan has asked their customers to bring in their damaged vehicles by April 19, 2025 to avail the discount.
The offer covers windscreen, rear screen, and panoramic sunroof repairs.
The sudden surge in vehicle damage is expected to drive business for mechanics, denters, and auto glass repair shops, which are likely to see a sharp increase in customer traffic over the coming days.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had predicted storms, winds, and rain for the northern regions, with similar weather expected through April 18 to 20.
PPP Senator Sherry Rehman attributed the storm to extreme weather volatility linked to climate change, emphasizing that such anomalies were a direct result of human-induced activities, including emissions from the use of dirty energy.
