Heavy rainfall damages crops in Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: Heavy rainfall on Saturday wreaked havoc for farmers in Khuzdar, with reports of rain and hail damaging agricultural crops in the Balochistan city.
According to sources, wheat, onion, tomato, and green chili were all damaged due to the heavy downpour.

Flash flood warnings across Pakistan
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) warned of sudden floods in various regions across the country on Saturday and Sunday (tomorrow). PMD warns of local water inlets flooding in Dera Ghazi Khan, Lasbella, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Kohe Suleman, Barkhan, Zhob and Sherani.
Similarly, Muslim Bagh, Quetta, Pishin, Kech, Panjgur, Turbat, Harnai, Kohlu, Naseerabad, and Jafarabad are at risk of flash floods, especially in low-lying areas.
Areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are also at risk of sudden floods, with Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, and Mansehra predicted to flood.

The Met Office has issued similar warning for Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Kashmir from the coming two days, from Saturday till Monday.
Landslides
The Met Office has predicted threat of landslides in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Kashmir, and GB. Residents are warned to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel.
