Heavy rains predicted across Pakistan from Sept 26 to Oct 1

LAHORE: The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall across the country from September 26 to October 1.
Rain is expected in various cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, and Lahore.
There is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in Peshawar, Swabi, Nowshera, Mardan, and Dera Ismail Khan.
Thunderstorms are also expected in Sahiwal, Jhang, Okara, Pakpattan, Kasur, and Bhakkar.
The Meteorological Department warns of an increase in water flow in the streams and rivers of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, northeastern Punjab, and Kashmir.
There is a risk of urban flooding in low-lying areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Sialkot, according to the Meteorological Department.
