Hospital in Peshawar to accept Sehat Card until September 8

PESHAWAR: The State Life Insurance Company (SLIC) has withdrawn its decision to stop treatment on Sehat Card.
The Panel Hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue to offer treatment of patients on Health Card until September 8, said a notification issued on Monday.

Previously, the SLIC had announced the decision to continue treatment on Health card until August 31. The company claimed that they had already been forced to suspend hospital claims due to a lack of funds and late release compelling them to suspend the facility.

However, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department assured SLIC of payment of dues. Resultantly, the facility has now been extended till Friday.
