Hot, dry weather to prevail across most of the country on Monday

WEB DESK: The weather across the country on Monday is expected to remain largely hot and dry, says Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). In Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and nearby hilly areas, some places may experience partly cloudy conditions, with the likelihood of thunderstorms and light rain.

Going region by region, PMD predicts that in Punjab, the forecast suggests hot and dry conditions across most districts. Similarly, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts will experience the same weather, though areas including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Lakki Marwat, and DI Khan may see light rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers.

Sindh is expected to remain hot and dry throughout most of its districts. Balochistan will also see hot and dry conditions in the majority of districts.

In Kashmir, partly cloudy conditions are anticipated, with the possibility of thunderstorms and light rain in certain areas. Gilgit-Baltistan will likely experience similar conditions, with some areas expecting thunderstorms and light rain.
