KARACHI: The Meteorological Department forecasts hot and dry weather for Sindh, with temperatures in Karachi expected to soar between 35 to 36 degrees Celsius.

In March, Karachi residents are getting ready for a substantial increase in temperatures similar to the intense heat of May. The meteorological department has issued alerts, stating that temperatures could reach as high as 36 degrees Celsius in the upcoming days.

Karachi, renowned for its sunny climate, is anticipated to encounter dry and hot weather all day long, with little chance of rain. This weather trend is expected to continue for the next 24 hours, emphasizing the importance of residents taking precautions against heat-related problems.

The lowest temperature ever recorded in Karachi is 25 degrees Celsius, highlighting the significant shift expected with the impending heatwave.

However, relief may be on the horizon as the department predicts a chance of rain in the province sans Karachi on March 28 and 29.

Areas including Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, and Dadu are likely to experience rainfall, offering respite from the scorching heat.
