Huge cache of local, foreign currency seized in Karachi raid

KARACHI: In a recent operation, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) successfully recovered a substantial amount of local and foreign currency.

The operation was carried out at a house in PECHS society. According to the FIA, the raid targeted the residence of an individual involved in the trade of imported vehicles.

FIA during the raid recovered 23,000 US dollars, more than 20 million rupees, prize bonds worth 540,000 and two mobile phones.

Four missing persons returned home in Sindh

The seized currency, consisting of domestic and foreign banknotes, was found concealed within pillow covers within the apartment.

Case has been registered against the accused.

Meanwhile, Customs, Police, and Rangers collaborated on a separate operation, conducting raids on two warehouses located in Saeedabad Yusuf Goth.

During these raids, smuggled goods with a combined value of millions of rupees were confiscated from both warehouse locations.
