IESCO notifies power suspension schedule for Sunday maintenance work

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power suspension schedule for Sunday, citing necessary maintenance and routine development work.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, the power supply will be interrupted from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Affected areas include various feeders and grid stations within the region.

Specifically, the power suspension will impact the GSO Circle, Mumtaz Steel, Pothohar Steel, Bani, M Steel Mill, Inter School, SH Steel, Capital Steel, New PTN, Mohammadi Chowk, Amin Town, I-10/1, Faisal Flour Mill, Noor Flour Mill, Exchange, I-10 Sector, Furnace, Khayaban Sir Syed, PTN, United Steel, PTV-II, Industrial-I, Katarian, Warid Telecom, Holy Family, New United Steel, MH Steel, Industrial-II, Fazal Steel Mill, MG Steel Mill, Etihad Steel, Industrial-3, Sadiq Steel feeders, and the surrounding areas.

Notably, IESCO managed to provide uninterrupted power supply to the majority of Islamabad during the Ashura holidays.
