IESCO notifies power suspension plan

WEB DESK: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has outlined a 2-day power suspension plan, effective Friday and Saturday, for several areas within its jurisdiction.

The temporary interruption in power supply is necessitated by essential maintenance and routine development tasks.

As per the IESCO Spokesman, the power supply to various feeders and grid stations will be temporarily suspended during specific time frames.

On Friday, the suspension will occur from 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM, impacting Rawalpindi City Circle, Ghousia Colony Feeder, Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, and Media Town-I Feeder.

Similarly, on Saturday, the power suspension will take place between 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM, affecting Rawalpindi City Circle, E-Block Feeder, Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, S.Garden-I Feeder, and the adjoining areas.

The planned power interruption is part of IESCO’s proactive approach towards ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the electrical infrastructure.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to mitigate any inconvenience during the specified time slots.
