In a four-page court order related to the implementation of the Baloch missing persons commission’s recommendations, the AGP pledged that all individuals reported as missing would be located and returned to their families.

Awan highlighted that a three-member committee, including the heads of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), and Military Intelligence (MI), faced coordination issues.

The IB Director General suggested appointing a joint director general as convener and including other agencies like the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to aid in identifying and recovering the missing persons.

The AGP also mentioned ongoing efforts to address the involvement of officials in enforced disappearances, aiming to fulfill the commission’s recommendations.
