PIMS Executive Director will be required to submit a report to the IHC registrar office after the medical board has been constituted. The IHC said that a copy of the court order should also be sent to the Superintendent Adiala Jail for execution.
Former premier Imran Khan had filed a request for a medical check from his personal physicians. The IHC noted that Imran Khan is 72 years old and an under-trial prisoner. The security measures at Adiala Jail should not hinder the check-up of a B-class prisoners by qualified doctors, the IHC ruling said.
