IHC rejects Imran Khan’s plea to suspend Toshakhana verdict

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) headed by Chief Justice Aamer Farooq dismissed the plea filed by former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman, Imran Khan, seeking the suspension of the Toshakhana case verdict.

The court has granted a suspension of the sentence in the Toshakhana case against Imran Khan. However, he sought the suspension of the entire verdict in a bid to avert potential disqualification.
