Imran Khan rubbishes reports of tendering apology over May 9

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Thursday dismissed reports claiming he had apologised for the May 9 events.

The former PTI Chairman while talking to journalists makeshift courtroom set up inside Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail clarified that his remarks were solely in Pakistan’s interest and criticised the government for becoming increasingly entangled in a quagmire.

Imran Khan also made it clear that he has not yet received any offers for negotiations.

The PTI founder claimed that the government is attempting to dismantle PTI and stated that his party will not accept the results if elections are held under the current conditions.

Additionally, Imran Khan denied any contact regarding negotiations, asserting that he is solely seeking justice for the events of May 9.
