India admits defeat: White flag raised on the Line of Control

ISLAMABAD: In a surprising development along the Line of Control (LoC), security sources confirmed that India raised a white flag, signalling a potential de-escalation of tensions with Pakistan on Wednesday.

The move comes after India fired missile strikes into Pakistani-administered Kashmir around 1:00 am, with Muzaffarabad, Bahawalpur, Kotli among other areas targeted.

Pakistan  retaliated, targeting several areas in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

The raising of the white flag is traditionally recognised as a gesture of truce or surrender, and its implications could be significant for the ongoing tensions.
