India-sponsored terrorists will face humiliating death: Naqvi

India-sponsored terrorists

QUETTA: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has declared that Indian-sponsored terrorists will face a humiliating death, vowing bitter consequences for all such operatives and their facilitators.

“The noose has tightened around anti-Pakistan elements, and we will bring all terrorists and their supporters to justice without exception,” Naqvi said during a high-level meeting on law and order, co-chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

The interior minister stressed that there would be no safe haven for those challenging the writ of the state and reaffirmed the federal government’s full support for Balochistan in its fight against terrorism.

He said the terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan would meet a disgraceful end and reiterated that the state would respond with an “iron hand” to any threats against its authority.

Chief Minister Bugti briefed participants on the overall security situation in the province and outlined the progress and challenges related to the implementation of the provincial action plan.

The meeting agreed that there would be no space left for anti-state elements to operate.

“This is not merely a war of the security forces, but of the entire nation,” Bugti said, adding that operations against elements involved in subversion and terrorism had been further intensified.

He noted that state institutions in Balochistan were working in full coordination to restore peace and asserted that the sacrifices of the people and security forces would not go in vain.

“We will establish peace—at any cost,” he said.

Senior officials from the Balochistan Police, Frontier Corps (North), Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Special Branch, Levies, and the Home Department also attended the meeting.
