ISLAMABAD: “Our resolve is firm and our response will be decisive,” Interior Secretary said while sharing the Pakistan’s state position on the Indian sponsored terrorist attack in Khuzdar, Balochistan.
“This cowardly attack took lives of six children. It was an attack on our values, education and the very fabric of our society,” he said.
The home secretary also said that this incident is part of a broader campaign orchestrated by India. “According to initial investigations, the attack specifically targeted schoolchildren and is linked to Fitna-ul-Hindustan,” he added. The attack was carried out by those under tutelage of Indian intelligence agency RAW, the interior secretary said.
“We stand by the families in their grief. The government and agencies are looking into this dastardly attack,” he said. The home secretary said that Pakistan will not let the elements of Fitna-e-Hindustan succeed. “Such actions have consequences,” he said, adding that after facing failure in targeting hard installations, India’s proxy networks have resorted to attacking soft civilian targets, particularly children, and development projects to paint a picture of government’s failure.
INDIA’S 20 YEARS OF STATE-SPONSORED TERRORISM
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif said that India’s terrorism has been going on since partition.
DG ISPR gave a detailed presentation on the past two decades of Indian sponsored terrorism, pointing out that evidence of India’s involvement in terrorist activities on Pakistani soil has been presented multiple times over the years. “In 2009, a dossier regarding India’s role in Balochistan was shared with the United Nations, and in 2016, further proof was presented to the international community,” the DG ISPR said.
He cited the confession of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav and the statements of surrendered operatives of Fitna-ul-Hindustan as further confirmation of Indian involvement. The DG ISPR also provided a grim timeline of recent terror attacks allegedly linked to Indian-sponsored groups:
May 21, 2025: Children were targeted in Khuzdar.
April 28, 2024: Two labourers were martyred in Kech.
May 9, 2024: Seven individuals were killed in Sarband.
February 14, 2025: Ten civilians were martyred.
February 19, 2025: Seven passengers were killed in Barkhan.
March 11, 2025: 26 passengers were martyred in the Jaffar Express attack.
April 12, 2024: Twelve labourers were martyred.
“Several children injured in the Khuzdar attack remain under treatment at local hospitals,” Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif added.
DG ISPR described a coordinated campaign of terrorism by Fitna-ul-Hindustan. He reiterated that Kulbhushan Jadhav – an Indian national arrested and convicted for espionage – had already confessed to India’s role in terrorist activities. “Fitna-ul-Hindustan has nothing to do with Balochistan,” he said.
He shared details of how a terrorist arrested in Jhelum on April 25 yielded substantial digital evidence, including audio recordings of an Indian military officer, which are now in Pakistani custody.
On May 6 and 7, 40 innocent civilians were martyred in what he termed a brutal act of state-sponsored terrorism by India. He questioned the absence of terrorists at the scene, despite widespread media coverage the next morning, insinuating the attack had no real counterterror justification.
He also shared the details of military operations carried out by Pakistan during which multiple terrorists were arrested and killed, and details of the revelations by those who were arrested.
Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif condemned the killings of “hardworking people” in various districts of Balochistan. “This campaign is not about regional grievances, it is sedition orchestrated by a foreign hand,” he said.
He called on the international community to take note of the systematic pattern of Indian state terrorism, and urged for diplomatic and political accountability. DG ISPR showed video snippets from Indian mainstream media, from May 11, showing their retired army officers on TV shouting “Balochistan Balochistan”.
ISPR spokesperson said that the whole world has seen India’s terrorism and yet India is blaming terrorism on us. “India is committing atrocities on Muslims and others in its own country. India’s so-called security expert is openly saying to kill Pakistani army officer and get reward money,” he added.
DG ISPR’s presentation also included snippets of statements from global media and security, defence experts. “The world knows how India is committing terrorism in Pakistan,” he said, adding that notorious terrorist Aslam Achho has been given visa and entry into India. “When Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists are injured here, India takes them to their country for treatment. India is behind all the terrorism in Balochistan,” he said.
He also reiterated the arrest of a suicide-bomber woman who was arrested before she could achieve her target, and how she confessed to being blackmailed. “Fitna-ul-Hindustan blackmails innocent women and carries out suicide attacks,” he said.
“Prophet Muhammad (SAW) shared the signs of the Khawarij, and they are emerging one by one,” DG ISPR said. Showing a short video of the father of two young girls martyred in Khuzdar attack, chanting “Pakistan Zindabad,” DG ISPR said, “As long as we have such fathers who can shoulder the heaviest coffins of daughters, nothing can defeat Pakistan.”
Commenting on the depravity of Indian media, General Sharif said that India is spreading false propaganda through social media by creating misleading narratives. and whenever terrorists attempt any action, our security forces teach them a lesson. “Terrorists then attack innocent civilians, but they cannot break the spirit of the Pakistani nation,” DG ISPR said.
